Asset Manager
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Asset Manager who will conduct and oversee management of assets in APG’s portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Review partnership agreements, financing documents, regulatory agreement and other sources to determine financial and regulatory reporting requirements to ensure properties are in compliance with such requirements.
· Review monthly property financial statements provided by property managers and prepare a monthly asset manager report for senior management to support portfolio performance
· Collaborate with property management staff to maximize revenue, and control expenses to support adequate reserves, debt service payments and cash flow.
· Implement procedures for operations and compliance oversight to ensure that at all times units are leased only to eligible tenants and rents are in strict accordance with all regulatory agreements.
· Prepare reserve draw requests ensuring they are complete and there are adequate reserves. Submit draw requests to respective lenders, investors and/or regulatory agencies for authorization to withdraw funds. Work with the property management staff to ensure all replacement reserves eligible items are included in the draws.
· Support the CFO with preparing annual residual receipts and cash flow calculations for review and approval by the CFO and CEO. Once approved, submit reports to applicable lenders and investors.
· Prepare and coordinate distribution of monthly, quarterly, annual and periodic reporting to lenders, investors and/or regulatory agencies.
· Participate in the development of annual property budgets by working with property management staff and obtaining approval of CFO and CEO.
· Participate in the development of capital improvement plans by working with property management staff, and CFO utilizing relevant sources of cash such as annual property budget, and reserves.
· Coordinate with Operations Manager to maintain annual project compliance and monitoring schedule for all properties.
· Coordinate regular calls and site visits with property management teams to ensure goals and budgets are met, determine strategies for corrective action and prepare database records of such communication.
· Establish and maintain effective business relationships with lenders, investors, and other corporate partners
· Maintain organized, systematic electronic files in central database.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field (Required)
Industry/Accounting Experience: Commercial Real Estate: 3+ years (required); Real Estate development: 3+ years (preferred); Property Management: 3+ years (preferred); Affordable Multi-family housing properties (preferred)

Proficient with Yardi, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office products including Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Able and willing to take commercial airline flights within contiguous US states
Position is suitable for remote location.
